I am your in-home family consultant specializing in advanced multi-child management, as well as home and family dynamics. I obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology in 2021, where I focused on human and child development, as well as educational and behavioral psychology. My passion revolves around the central idea that all children should get the same opportunities for learning and education, including social and emotional learning. I've moved through different fields in my career, but have always come back to my passion of education and child-care. With more than 10 years of professional experience, and nearly 20 years of personal experience, I have found that I’m able to find areas of improvement within a home in a matter of a couple days.
When I started nannying for a local family of five, I quickly realized that I was able to spot the areas of their home, routine, and parenting techniques that could use improvement within the first couple of days of being in the home with the family. This realization gave me the idea for Daylily - a way to bring peace, order, and predictability to more families.
My professional experience begins in the special needs daycare at my high school over 10 years ago, where I regularly volunteered and helped in the lives of numerous students. After high school, I became a professional pre-school teacher where I specialized in children ages 2-4, but floated to have experience with all ages. After moving careers for a year or so, I quickly came back to child-care and I began nannying professionally for families across West Cobb in 2020. Since then I have continued to nanny for families across Metro-Atlanta, helping more than 150 children reach their best potential. Creating Daylily is my way of fulfilling my dream of helping more families reach their best selves.
